Introduction

I. Must Have Faith.

The Disciples showed their Faith.

16 But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated.
They traveled to Galilee = 80 miles from Jersualem.
Explanation

While the Bible’s theme of “faith” can be understood in a variety of ways, it can be summarized as active trust and belief displayed through obedience.

Region associated with demonic activity.

II. Must Worship Him.

The first thing the disciples did was to worship Him.

17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful.
Worship = to express in attitude or gesture one’s complete dependence on or submission to a high authority figure.
prostrate oneself before.
Not always easy.
Doubt = word used here implies hesitation or indecision not unbelief.
= to be uncertain about taking a particular course of action.
struggling to comprehend what they are witnessing.
Christ was crucified before their eyes now they see Him alive.

Jesus’s Assignment.
Make Disciples. = followers of Christ.
“Go” - going = participle not command - as you go.
apprentice -
“A disciple attached himself to a teacher, identified with him, learned from him, and lived with him. He learned, not simply by listening, but also by doing.” Warren Wiersbe.
Baptize the Disciples.
Act of obedience.
Teach the Disciples.
